Article summary

Columns can be rearranged and viewed in any order the user prefers, this customization is unique to the current user and does not affect the global view. The columns will stick in the preferred positions indefinitely with no further action, for future viewing. Simply click on the heading of any column and drag left or tight to the preferred location.

The heading for each column contains two functions:

  1. Clicking on the tittle of the column automatically sorts the information within the grid in either ascending or descending order, alphabetically or numerically based on the information within the column. These are single filters, noted by an orange arrow next to the title when applied, and cannot be applied in conjunction with other filters.

  2. Clicking on the filter icon at the top right of each column allows for more complex filters. Depending on the values present in the column a unique set of filter values and conditional constraint options will be presented. These filters can be applied in combination to other complex filters within the grid to accomplish targeted informational searches.

  • To clear individual filters simply click the orange filter icon at the top of the column you wish to remove and click clear.

  • To clear ALL filters, click the Remove filter button at the top of the page

  • To save the current filter and grid state for quick future access select the Save Filter icon and name the filter set.

  • To access saved filter sets, select from the saved filter drop down and the filters will be applied to the grid.

  • Saved filter sets can also be removed by clicking the trashcan icon

  • All Rows in the grid view Include at least one of the following columns for quick progress assessment and/or interacting with items in the grid.

  • Context menus provide a variety of options depending on the type of information displayed. Options vary from simply allowing the user to edit or delete the information in the row, to more intricate options like adding media, comments, billing, ect. directly to the field represented in the row.

  • The Task drop down expands Projects in the grid view to allow direct access to individual tasks associated with projects by clicking the task name to link directly into the task.

  • Flag column gives quick visual reference. Red flag = Unassigned Task(s), Grey flag = No Task(s), X = Cancelled, Check Mark = Closed

  • Status Columns show the current state of projects or tasks for visual reference and can also be used to sort by status.
