Article summary

The fielded information within tasks can be shared with contacts utilizing Agility Blue’s notification email system. With email templates, a library of email templates can be defined to help systemize the type of information shared. The body of the email can be designed to include task fields, system fields, and task form fields so that information can be shared using the selected task-specific fielded data.

For example, an email template can be designed to include fields from a form that contains information about processing details (number of pages, size, time, etc.). When the task is finished and the information about processing has been entered into the task form, a user can then share the task using a processing details email template (designed previously). After entering a subject line, adding recipients, and selecting the template, the email can be sent pulling in the information specific to the task they’re sharing to interested contacts.

Task sharing differs from the standard email notifications in that the email body is completely customizable, manually triggered from a task, and can be sent to any number of contacts (inside or outside of the organization).
