Forms are a core part of Agility Blue and serve as the foundation for how information is structured within tasks.
When creating or updating a task, one or more Forms are used to capture details, provide instructions, and communicate requirements. Each workspace contains a collection of Forms that can be used individually or combined, allowing tasks to remain flexible and adaptable to different workflows.
How Forms Are Used
Forms are used in three primary areas within Agility Blue, depending on a user’s role and level of interaction:
Managing Forms
Forms are managed from the Forms menu, available under the vertical ellipsis menu.
This area is intended for users who:
Create new Forms
Modify existing Forms
Remove Forms that are no longer needed
Users managing Forms should understand how Forms are used by both task creators and task readers to ensure they are structured effectively.
Creating Tasks
When creating a task, at least one Form is required to capture the necessary information.
After selecting a Form:
Its sections and fields are presented
The user completes the required information
This is how task details and instructions are defined.
Users responsible for creating tasks should understand how to complete Forms accurately, but do not need to understand how Forms are designed or maintained.
Reading Tasks
When viewing a task, Form data is displayed in a read-only format within the task details.
This allows users to:
Review task information
Understand instructions and context
Users who only read tasks do not need to understand how Forms or tasks are created.
