    Permissions Group Details

    Article summary

    A dialog window will be presented to the user by clicking on the Permissions Group name or by clicking on the New Group button. There are two sections to this dialog:

    • Input fields for the Permissions Group.
    • Permissions and Permission Rights.

    The input fields for the Permissions Group consist of the Permissions Group name (required) and a description (optional).

    Permissions Groups must have unique names.

    The Permissions heading right below the input fields allows a user to:

    • Copy permissions rights from another Permissions Group.
    • Expand or collapse all of the permission categories.
    • Filter through the permissions and their descriptions to locate permissions quickly.
    • Apply the system-defined default notification rules (Warning: this will overwrite any rules currently
